Ray and Anna Sheehy, Ardmore, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Sept. 5, 2009, at Sante Fe Steakhouse.

Dewain Donald Duck and the former Naomi Ruth Hines, of Ardmore, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration at the Bethel Assembly of God on Oct. 24, 2009. They were married on that date at the Lighthouse Assembly of God in 1959.

Bennie and Joy Winter celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 1, 2009. The couple were married on that date in Davis, Okla.

Harold and Laquita Stinson of Ardmore recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Fireside Dining, hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Denise Stinson, along with their granddaughters, Emily and Elizabeth Stinson, all of Ardmore. They also took a trip to Branson, Mo.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Gill, Ardmore, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 26, 2009, with a private celebration hosted by their children.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Powell, Woodford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 19, 2009.  Their children hosted a come-and-go reception for them at the East Lincoln Church of Christ in Healdton.

The Rev. and Mrs. H.H. Davis will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22, 2009.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Pearson of Ratliff City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 12, 2009. Don and Betty were married on that date in 1959 in Modesto, Calif.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Johnson, Ardmore, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Branson, Mo. with their family. Gene and the former Peggy Johnston were married Sept. 5, 1959 at First Baptist Church in Corsicana, Texas.

Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Cox of Springer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at the home of Bill and Carol Mitchell. They were married on Aug. 25, 1959 at First United Methodist Church in Wilson.
