Mr. and Mrs. Charles McAnally celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 15, 2009. Charles and Elouise were married on that date in 1959 in Lubbock, Texas. After marrying, they moved back to Greenville and have lived in the Marietta area ever since.
The couple have worked several jobs during the years, including at Marietta Sportswear and Slaughter Electronics, where Elouise still works. Charles is retired.
The McAnally’s have two children, Twila McAnally, and Wayne McAnally and his wife, Nelda, all of Marietta.
They also have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
