Ray and Anna Sheehy, Ardmore, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Sept. 5, 2009, at Sante Fe Steakhouse.
Ray from Adel, Iowa, and the former Ann Shelton from Overbrook, were married on Sept. 3, 1959, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ardmore.
Ann worked at Hill Country Chevrolet as a cashier and at Joe Esco Tire as a bookkeeper. Ray was co-owner of Case Tractor and Implement before going to work for OG&E. He retired from there after 20 years.
They have two sons, Dean and his wife Teri; and Scott and his wife Holly. They also have five grandchildren.
