Charles “Chuck” and Helen Samples, Norman, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17, 2009. Their children hosted a come-and-go reception for them at Bethel Baptist Church in Norman.
Chuck married the former Helen Criner on Oct. 18, 1959, in Mary Niblack Baptist Church.
They have three children and their spouses and seven grandchildren.
