Powell

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Powell, Woodford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 19, 2009.  Their children hosted a come-and-go reception for them at the East Lincoln Church of Christ in Healdton.

Dale married the former Vicki Battles on Sept. 18, 1959 in Wilson. He grew up in Graham.

They have three children and their spouses, eight grandsons, two granddaughters-in-law and one great-granddaughter.
