Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Morrow celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2009, with a surprise cook­out at Wilson Park with their extended family.

Melvin and Letta were married on June 1, 1959, at Orahom Baptist Church.

The event was hosted by their daughter, Cindy Forshee of Harrah and Ardmore; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Tina Morrow, Healdton; sons Rick and Roger Morrow, Healdton; brother and sister­in- law, Charles and Hazel Morrow, Lone Grove; and two sisters, Gequita Douglas, Healdton, and Jean Moore, Ringling; and grandchildren, Brandy Forshee, Ardmore; Bradley Forshee, Healdton; Joey and Randi Hix, Wilson. They have a great-grandson and a special great-niece.
