Across the nation, more high school students are staying in school as the national dropout rate continues to drop, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.Just 7 percent of the nation’s 18-to-24 year olds dropped out of high school last year. Education officials have witnessed a steady decline since the dropout rate of 12 percent in 2000, according to numbers from the Pew Research Center.
