Word must have gotten out early this week that the bass were biting on Lake Murray. Thirty-three teams took off from the North Ramp at Lake Murray, making the field one of the largest groups in a while for the Tuesday Night Tournament.

Tuesday's event recorded 10 stringers weighing in greater than seven pounds. Considering the anglers are only on the water for a couple of hours, that is pretty impressive.

The team of Gus Duncan and Jamie Crane captured the top honors with a stringer weighing in at 9.41 pounds. The father/son team of Jack and Rodney Richards followed in second place with a weight of 8.85 pounds.

Brent and Leroy Holman came in third place with a catch totaling 8.58 pounds. For the second week in a row, Larry Wood and Larry Wood Jr. brought home the big bass honors, this time with a bass weighing in at 4.25 pounds.
