The Ardmore Higher Education Center, Ardmore City Schools and the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center are offering a fun-filled week of classes for students ages 10 to 14, June 2-6. The classes are intended to stimulate math and science awareness and allow children to participate in classes that will motivate their creativity.


The Ardmore Higher Education Center, Ardmore City Schools and the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center are offering a fun-filled week of classes for students ages 10 to 14, June 2-6. The classes are intended to stimulate math and science awareness and allow children to participate in classes that will motivate their creativity.

Morning and afternoon classes are being offered. Morning classes will be conducted at the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center and afternoon classes will take place at AHEC.

Classes range from construction and computer technology to Spanish and jewelry making.

From the Ground Up -- Construction Studying DNA Cyber Camp -- Computers and Technology Kosmo Camp -- Beginner's Cosmetology Glitter and Glamour Art -- Creating Masterpieces Iron Chef -- Basic Food Prep and Hygiene Beginning Spanish -- Basic Spanish Words Art Workshop Drama Glam-Glam Art -- Jewelry Making.

Classes are $60 per class and enrollment must be completed by May 12.
