Born Oct. 25, 1937, in Warren, Ohio, to George Joseph and Valaria Thelma Gunsallus Kramer, he died at his home on May 25, 2008. He married Ruth Beal on April 28, 1961, in Sonota, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jeri Lynne Kramer.


He attended Nile McKinley High School, graduating in 1955. After graduating high school and attending college for a semester, Frank joined the United States Navy. Upon his discharge from the Navy, Frank moved to Ajo, Ariz., and went to work for Phelps Dodge. While living in Ajo, he met his future wife, Ruth Beal. They were married in 1961 and moved to Page, Ariz., in 1973 where Frank went to work as an electrician for the Salt River Project. A few years after retiring, Frank and Ruth settled in Ardmore, where they enjoyed their retirement years.


Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Ruth, of the home; a daughter; Sandra Cantrell and husband, Kevin; a son, Frank R. Kramer and wife, Nancee; grandchildren, Doug Boston and wife, Rosey, Katie Gibson and husband, Brian, Samantha Ewing, Aimee Lucero, Stevie Lucero, Petty Officer Cody Lucero, Monica Cantrell, Frank R. Kramer Jr., Mical Kramer, Emilie Kramer, Sawyer Clendening and Melissa Coon; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Gibson, Sean Boston, Julian Boston, Cahrin Boston and Camryn Coon; two sisters, Ruth Churchill and Peggy Burk; and all of his Majestic Hills poker buddies who will now have a little more money!


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 207 C Street N.W., Ardmore, OK 73401.
