The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation was recently presented the Distinguished Service Award from the Association of Career and Technology Education after being nominated by Southern Oklahoma Technology Center.


The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation was recently presented the Distinguished Service Award from the Association of Career and Technology Education after being nominated by Southern Oklahoma Technology Center.


The overall Award for Distinguished Service was presented at the 2008 Career and Technology Education Summer Conference recently in Cox Convention Center, Oklahoma City. The conference attracted more than 3,500 career and technology educators from across Oklahoma.


The Noble Foundation has provided significant contributions to SOTC over the past several years. The Noble Foundation has made monetary contributions for the construction of the Seminar Center, the reconstruction of the Oklahoma School of Science and Math wing and extension and renovation of the Health Building. Most recently, SOTC was awarded partial funding to extend biotechnology by increasing the size and making it a two-teacher program.
