OKLAHOMA CITY — Plainview won one game and dropped another as it came away 1-for-2 from the Hall of Fame Shootout Saturday.


The Indians dropped a 3-2 decision to Caney Valley before conquering Eufaula 2-0.

In the win over Eufaula, Plainview picked up both its runs in the bottom of the second innig.

Taylor Rudd, who went 3-for-3 at the plate, drove in the first run with a run batted in triple, with Abby Hattensty the beneficiary of scoring.

Rudd would later plate as Elise Wheelwright sent her in on an RBI single.

Maci Lambert (3-7) got the win with a two-hitter, while Marki Dethloff picked up s a save.

In the loss  to Caney Valley, Plainview fell behind 2-0 in the fourth, the gave up another run in the  sixth.

They got their two runs in the second when Kristin Galles doubled, then scored on an RBI single from Lambert. Lambert picked up the second run on a base hit from Hattensty.
