A Carter County resident told deputies he returned home about midnight Monday to find two men carrying his television out of his house and fleeing into the night. Unwilling to see his television disappear into the bowels of the stolen goods black market, the man said he followed the burglars, while using his cell phone to call for help.

“He (victim) lives in a mobile home at Red River Livestock Auction. He had been loading cattle and when he returned home he saw the two men,” Carter County Sheriff Ken Grace said. “Deputy Kenny Mashore responded to the call and also notified Ardmore police to be on the lookout for them and their vehicle.”

The duo was stopped by Ardmore patrol officers at the intersection of C Street SW and Myall Road within minutes. Mashore arrived on the scene moments later and detained the pair.

“The victim came to the scene and identified them as the men who took the television and identified his television, which was in the back of their vehicle,” Grace said. “Mashore placed the men under arrest.”

Larry Blundell, 45, Ardmore, and Danyell Henderson, 34, Ardmore, were identified as the burglars. They were booked into the Carter County Detention Center on pending second-degree burglary charges.
