Alcohol was listed as the cause of a single-vehicle crash that sent a 19-year-old Tyler, Texas, man to the hospital Monday night.


Blake Orman was taken by ambulance to Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. He was admitted in stable condition with internal and head injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.


Patrol reports indicate the crash occurred about 10:15 p.m. on a county road 1.7 miles south of Sulphur. Orman was behind the wheel of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee and failed to negotiate a curve. The Jeep ran off the road, hit a dirt embankment and rolled one time.


Orman was wearing a seatbelt.


There were no passengers in the Jeep at the time of the crash.
