Bill Henry and Reta Kendrick were married on June 22, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Eastman moved to Dickson, Oklahoma at an early age where he attended school and graduated from Dickson High School.  He continued his education at Southeastern University and other Oklahoma colleges.  Mr. Eastman served his country in the United States Air Force receiving the National Defense Service Medal.  Bill Henry enjoyed life, family and friends and was known to have a few stories to tell.  He was an avid OU sports fan, and loved to play a good round of golf, although he was a lefty.  He enjoyed a wide variety of music, and he “thought” he could play his guitar.  Bill Henry was a generous person that loved to make people laugh, he never met a stranger and always looked at the glass as “half full”.  Bill Henry and Reta have lived the past eleven years in Overland Park, Kansas and prior to that time lived eleven years in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Mr. Eastman worked for Embarq Telecommunications as a network planner.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Reta; sisters, Jeanne Shipman and Juanita Eastman; special mother-in-law, Noble Kendrick; and many special nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by sisters, Doris North, Sue Greenwood and Peggy Norris.

Over the last couple of years Bill Henry realized the importance of organ donation.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to a charity of choice.  Please consider being an organ donor.
