Billy R. Holloway passed away at his home on December 26, 2008. Memorial service will be 10:30 am Monday December 29, 2008 at Griffin~Hillcrest Chapel with Mr. Dillard Hammett officiating.

Billy R. Holloway was born to William Madison and Opal Fern   (Richeson) Holloway on March 9, 1931 in Wilson, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman for two years before joining the United States Navy to serve his country during the Korean War. After he received his honorable discharge, Billy attended the University of New Mexico where he graduated with a degree in Geology. He met Lorna D. Lugenbeel and they married on June 4, 1956. He took a position with Kaiser Gypsum and Cement Company where Billy became the manager of the gypsum mines with in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The family moved to Ardmore in 1976 where Billy enjoyed house-boating and fishing on Lake Murray. He also did day trading in the stock market.

He is survived by his Wife of the Home, three daughters; Tamara Holloway of Oklahoma City, OK, Kelly Holloway of Tulsa, OK, Deborah Price and husband Ron of Tucson, Arizona, and Cynthia Ryder of Oklahoma City, OK. Two Grandsons Eric Price and Nicholas Price of Tucson, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his name to: Cross Timbers Hospice of Ardmore, OK at 1514 Meadow Lane, Ardmore OK 73401.
