Elmer Lee Cramer, 84-year-old Vinita resident, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Jack C. Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Muskogee, OK.
Lee was born Nov. 14, 1924 in Lincoln, Ark. to William Harrison Cramer and Grace Lee (Dauthard) Cramer. He was a pick-up driver for an oil company. A member of First Church of God. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1943-46 and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include his wife, Darla of the home; a son, Richard L. Cramer and wife Debby of Ardmore; a daughter, Connie Lynn Cramer of Vinita; two brothers, Harry Cramer and wife Rena of Fort Worth, TX and Bob Cramer and wife Sandra of Norman; grandchildren Brandi and Rachel Cramer, Breeanna and Collin McKisick; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, two sons, David Keith Cramer and Clay Allen Cramer; one sister, Evelyn Phillippe.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, OK with Brother Gary White officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home of Vinita.
