Plainview celebrated its 2008 football season last week with a team banquet at the First Baptist Church fellowship hall. State representative Samson Buck was the Master of Ceremonies and coach Corey Cole honored 13 senior football players who finished their careers with a four-year record of 36-10.

State representative Samson Buck was the Master of Ceremonies and coach Corey Cole honored 13 senior football players who finished their careers with a four-year record of 36-10.

Individual awards were presented to: Stephen Mannas, Preston Cox, Chris Mashore, Kevin Warner, Caleb Ryan and Cameron Wright (Senior Special Recognition); James Turner (Special Teams Player of the Year); Grayson Campbell (Defensive Lineman of the Year); Jacob Brecht (Offensive Lineman of the Year); Ethan Bateman (Defensive Back of the Year); Aaron Chandler (Big “E” Award), Brandon Allen (Offensive Player of the Year); and Logan Russell (Defensive Player of the Year).
