A Tishomingo woman was injured late Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 377.


A Tishomingo woman was injured late Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 377.


The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said shortly before midnight  40-year-old Lona K. Carver was driving a 1999 Chevrolet northbound 4.5 miles south of Tishomingo. The car ran off the right side of the road. Carver overcorrected and the car ran off the left side of the road and overturned one time.


Carver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the car during the rollover.


Carver was taken by ambulance to a Madill hospital. She was later transferred by ambulance to St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in serious condition with multiple injuries.
