An amber alert has been issued for a missing seven-year-old girl at the request of the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office.


An amber alert has been issued for a missing seven-year-old girl at the request of the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office.

 

The girl’s mother Tonya Hobbs, 37, was found dead inside her RV parked at in Geronimo. Hobbs and her daughter, Aja (pronounced Asia) Daniell Johnson, were visiting Hobbs’ estranged husband at his sister’s home.

 

Lester William Hobbs, 47, the estranged husband, and Aja are missing in Hobbs’ car. The car is described as a white, 1992 Toyota Paseo with an Oklahoma license tag reading 577-BPW. The 2-door car has no hubcaps and plastic covers the rear passenger window.

 

The victims were last seen Saturday evening. Investigators believe Tonya Hobbs was murdered. Lester Hobbs is considered a person of interest in her death. The girl has a medical condition that requires medication.


Lester Hobbs has many tattoos.  The ones most easily seen are on his hands. On his left fingers, he has LOVE tattooed.  He also has LOVE on the top of his left wrist.  On his right fingers he has ROSE.

 

Aja Johnson is 4’ tall and weighs approximately 65 pounds. She has brown, shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

 

OSBI has also requested the states of California, Oregon, and Texas issue Amber Alerts due to Hobbs having relatives living in those states.
