Don Vesterby, age 61, of Clinton, Okla., was born on June 25, 1948, in Santa Anna, Calif., to Ronald John Vesterby and Beaulah Irene (Ramsey) Vesterby and entered into eternal life on March 22, 2010, in Oklahoma City.


Don Vesterby, age 61, of Clinton, Okla., was born on June 25, 1948, in Santa Anna, Calif., to Ronald John Vesterby and Beaulah Irene (Ramsey) Vesterby and entered into eternal life on March 22, 2010, in Oklahoma City.

Don was raised on a dairy farm in California and graduated from Mount Claire High School. He moved to Oklahoma in 1980 from California and began working for Champion Drilling Fluids in the Oil Industry. Don was of the Baptist faith and his hobby was cars.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Jelene Hale; a brother, Robert Glenn Stevens; and grandparents.

Don is survived by his mother, Beaulah Vesterby of Blue; sisters, Betty Young and husband, Allen of Orange, Calif., Judy Robinson of Puryear, Tenn., and Joyce Teel and husband, John of Blue; a brother, Ronald Vesterby of Eustace, Texas; a daughter, Misty Moss and husband, Seth of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a son, Tom Cuthertson and wife, Angie of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; many other relatives; and special friends.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 3 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant. Bro. Randy Lewis will officiate.
