Clifford Jesse Lee, 74, of Ardmore passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at The Chapel at Griffin-Hillcrest with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.


Clifford Jesse Lee, 74, of Ardmore passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at The Chapel at Griffin-Hillcrest with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Clifford was born in Ardmore on August 27, 1935, to the late Mr. Henry Jesse Lee and Mrs. Annie Caroline Bryant Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Louise Shockley; and an infant brother.
Clifford was employed with the City of Ardmore as a meter reader for 10 years. He was self-employed as an auto-mechanic for many years. Clifford was with the Ardmore Fire Department for 22 years and retired as a Captain. Clifford married Jean Delores Bell, on December 14, 1951, at Marietta, Okla. 

Clifford is survived by 10 children, LaJuana Carter, husband, Butch Carter, of Lone Grove, Harlan Lee of Lone Grove, Bradley Lee, wife, Shaun, of Edmond, Michael Lee, of  Edmond, Karrie Lee of Ardmore, Travis Lee of Ardmore, Angie McMillain, husband, Alan, of Edmond,  Lorrie Harper, husband, Ron, of Ardmore, Katrina Lee-Doggett, husband, Kevin Doggett, of Bartlesville and Julie Lee of Edmond; 10 grandchildren, Morgan Lee and Hillary Lee of Ardmore, Jessi Lee, Stormie Lee, Mauri Riggs and husband, Jason, all of Edmond, Kyle Harper, wife, Barbara, of Lone Grove and Brandie Harper of Ardmore, Sarah McMillain, Hannah McMillain, and Alec Lee, all of Edmond; two great-grandchildren, Shooter Lee, Edmond and  Klaire Harper, Lone Grove; two sisters, Carolyn Faulkner and Anita Cornelison both of Ardmore; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Butch Carter, Alan McMillain, Kevin Doggett, Morgan Lee, Kyle Harper, and Alec Lee. Honorary bearers will be Kelly Bryant, Kevin Faulkner and Steven Watkins.
