Funeral services for Mary Alice Williamson, 64, will be held Monday morning at 10 a.m. at the Provence Assembly of God Church with Brother Mike Southerland officiating. Burial will follow at the Baxter Family Cemetery.


Funeral services for Mary Alice Williamson, 64, will be held Monday morning at 10 a.m. at the Provence Assembly of God Church with Brother Mike Southerland officiating. Burial will follow at the Baxter Family Cemetery.

The daughter of James and Dora Roberts Baxter, Mary was born October 21, 1945, in Ardmore and went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning in a Shawnee hospital.

She and Keith Williamson were married August 31, 1963, at Waurika, Oklahoma.

A graduate of Dickson High School, Mary worked with her husband, a self- employed painter. She was a devoted homemaker and helped with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Provence Assembly of God Church, and dedicated her life to sharing the Gospel.

Survivors include her husband of the home; daughters, Garie Thomas and husband, Cory, Margie King and husband, Michael; sons, Jason Williamson and Wendy Justus, and Gabriel Williamson and wife, Julie all of Ardmore; three brothers, Bill Baxter and wife, Kathy, Jim Baxter and wife, Sandy and Manuel Baxter all of Ardmore; sisters, Cindy Russell and husband, Darryl of Yukon and Ruby Ormersher and her husband, Russell of Dallas; grandchildren, Geoffrey and wife, Johanna Horn, Valerie and husband, Dink Bean, Josh and wife, Amy Williamson, Evan Lavers, Emily and Wesley King, Ethan, Elijah and Amber Williamson, great grandchildren, Reagan, Remington and Emma Bean, and Davian Williamson; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Joe Baxter; sister-in-law, Debbie Baxter; and son-in-law, Harlan Lavers.

Serving as bearers will be Paul Johnson, Michael Willingham, Daniel Mitchell, Tim Kerbo, Jasper Clements, Joel King, and Troy Barras. Honorary bearers will be Brian and Bo Rockwell, Chris Marquier and Tony Kerbo.

A time of visitation and support for the family will be held this afternoon from 4 till 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
