Funeral services for Larry Edwin Keith, 65, will be Friday morning at 11 a.m., at the Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Gardner and Rev. Ron Elmore officiating.

 

The son of Troy Samuel and Letha Pearl Riggs Keith, Larry was born March 29, 1945, in Ardmore, and passed away on April 20, 2010, in a local hospital.

 

Larry graduated from Lone Grove High School in 1963; he then graduated from Murray State College in 1965, and finished at Southeastern State University in 1969, with degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Biology and Chemistry. Larry worked as a Real Estate Broker and Appraiser, was a member of the Southern Oklahoma Board of Realtors, and served as its president in 1980, and had been named Realtor of the Year.

 

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Jennifer Brewer and husband, Phillip, Melissa Shaw and husband, Ricky, and Amanda Gardner and husband, Brian, all of Ardmore; brothers, Kenneth and wife, Barbara of Kingston, and Billy Mac and wife, Melinda of Newcastle, Okla.; sister, Linda Tuma Wiser of Plano, Texas; sister-in-law, Colleen Keith of Madill; adopted brothers and sisters, George Riggs, Oklahoma City, Ronnie Riggs of Fort Cobb, Ann Riggs of Oklahoma City, and Letha Smith of Duncan; the mother of his children, Barbara “Dolly” Brown Keith of Ardmore; his best friend, Shane Cox; 10 grandchildren, Dustin, Devon, Mykayla and Clara Brewer, Aarron and Shelby Park, Jakob Shaw, Seth, Sammy and Emma Gardner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

His parents; and a brother, Benny Keith, preceded him in death.

 

Honorary bearers will be Aarron Park, Dustin Brewer, Jeremy Keith, Stephen Keith, Jason Dinger, Tony Keith, Jeff Keith, Jerry Bell and Jimmy Taylor.

 

A time of visitation and support for the family will be held this evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
