The 40th anniversary of Earth Day will be celebrated in downtown Ardmore from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Tivoli Theater, 201 W. Main St. Ardmore Beautification Council, Cici’s Pizza and Ardmore Tivoli are sponsoring this free event as a way to show respect to the Earth and focus attention on environmental concerns.


Attendees are encouraged to bring their aluminum cans for Habitat for Humanity recycling. Free pizza and drink will be provided for the first 60 people by Ardmore Beautification Council and Cici’s Pizza and the Ardmore Tivoli will coordinate a drum circle for music enthusiasts.

Ardmore Tivoli will give $3 coupons to everyone bringing aluminum cans, to be used toward Saturday night concert tickets to see folk singer, Kelly Ebberts, Fifth Story Band, Tripp Adams Band and Farwell Innocence.
