Christopher Alan Reeves, 38, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Services will be Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel.


Christopher Alan Reeves, 38, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Services will be Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel.

 

Christopher was born July 12, 1971, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Clifford Alan Reeves and Donna Dale Brown-Reeves.

 

Christopher attended and graduated from school in New Haven, Conn., in 1990. He married Judy Clayburn on July 31, 1990, and after this marriage ended, married Laura Blalock on October 17, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

He enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Gulf War. Following his discharge, he returned to Ardmore where he began his trade as a journeyman plumber. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and helping his friends. He also enjoyed hunting for Indian artifacts and arrowheads.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Mildred Reeves.

 

Christopher is survived by his parents, Donna Dale Winklesky and husband, James of Oklahoma City, and Clifford Alan Reeves and wife, Cindy of Ardmore; his wife, Laura; three children from his first marriage, Chealsey Alyss Reeves, Chase Alec Reeves, and Makayla Janae Reeves; two stepchildren, Amber Norton and Dustin Norton, all of Ardmore; two stepsisters, Christina Ann Henry of Ardmore, and Michelle Annette Mann of Kansas City, Kan.; and one stepbrother, James Bradley Winklesky of Georgia.
