Patsy Lou Cook, 63, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel, Ardmore. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, Oklahoma.


Patsy Lou Cook, 63, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel, Ardmore. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, Oklahoma.

 

Patsy was born December 19, 1946, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Clint Studeman and Myrtie (Laney) Studeman. Patsy married her childhood sweetheart, Butch Cook on October 1, 1966, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and to this union two sons were born.

 

Patsy was raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and she began working at the age of 14, at the Super Dog. She worked there for many years, she also worked at Strongberg, Carlson and the Ardmore Pants Factory.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Studeman.

 

Patsy is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Allen Cook and wife, Jamie of Springer and Michael Cook and wife, Casandra of Ardmore; eight grandchildren, Falyn, Ray, Sara, and Ashlie of Springer, Makayla, Laney, Kelsie and Autumn of Ardmore; and one great-grandson, Saxton of Springer. She also leaves three sisters, Peggy Bagwell, Ardmore, Patricia Stewart and husband, Doug, Lone Grove, and Tammy Berry and husband, Billy of Ozark, Arkansas; and three brothers, Bobby Studeman and wife, Donna of Ardmore, William Studeman of Atoka, and Ricky Studeman and wife, Shannon of Lone Grove.

 

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Stewart, Billy and Bobby Studeman, Jason Pinkerton, James Stone and Troy Stone. Honorary pallbearers will be Rocky Mitchell Jr. and James Cook, Nick Danker, Dee Debord, T.J. Jarell, and Faith Hospice’s Terry Henly and Ray Earheart.

 

Family visitation will be this evening from 6 – 8 p.m., at Griffin-Hillcrest.
