Funeral services for Letha Addie Pullen will be held 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Davis with Rev. James Densman and Brother John Wylie officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.


Funeral services for Letha Addie Pullen will be held 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Davis with Rev. James Densman and Brother John Wylie officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.

 

Addie was born on Aug. 19, 1944, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late William Rufus and Cecile Lillian (Hyde) Bybee. She passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, in Ardmore, at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 6 days.

 

Addie and Robert Pullen were married on Feb. 25, 1984, in Ardmore.

 

Addie was a 1962 graduate of Harding High School. Most of her adult life was spent caring for her family. Addie was saved and baptized on Oct. 16, 1983. For 15 years she was a member of the Springer Missionary Baptist Church, and served as the church clerk for 11 of those years. When her health began to fail, Addie moved her membership to the First Baptist Church of Davis. She greatly enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

 

Addie is survived by her loving and devoted husband and caregiver, Robert; one daughter, Joetta Lynn Walker-Carr of Grand Junction, Colo.; two stepsons, Aaron Pullen and wife, Jennifer and Bryan Pullen and wife, Jami, all of Davis; six grandchildren, Nick Pullen, Clay Walker, Rachel Carr, Nolan, Aidan and Keira Pullen; three brothers, James Augusta Bybee, Sam Orval Bybee and William Rufus Bybee II; two sisters, Billie Gerldeen Choate and Lucy Cook; and mother-in-law, LaVerne Pullen.

 

Preceding Addie in death were her parents; one sister, Jo Ann Long; and one brother, Bobby Gene Bybee.

 

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Pullen, Bryan Pullen, L.D. Mayton, Clay Walker, Carl Hickman and Cal Pender. Honorary bearers will be Jerry Pullen, Nolan Pullen and Kelly Hickman.

 

Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Davis, Okla.
