Recently elected state legislators Frank Simpson, Tommy Hardin and Josh Brecheen will be sworn in today in Oklahoma City.

 

Newly elected and reelected members of the state Senate, including Simpson, R-Springer, and  Brecheen, R-Coalgate. will take the oath of office during a ceremony at 11 a.m. today in the Senate Chamber of the State Capitol.

 

 Simpson will represent Senate District 14 while Brecheen will serve Senate District 6.

Hardin, R-Madill, who will represent House District 49, will be take the oath of office at 1:30 p.m. in the House Chamber of the State Capitol.

 

In other Legislature news, Lt. Gov.-elect Todd Lamb said he will resign his state Senate seat effective Jan. 10.

 

Lamb currently represents Senate District 47, which covers parts of Edmond and northwest Oklahoma City.
