Funeral services for Phrely Asbury Branstetter will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Davis with the Rev. James Densman officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery at Davis.


Funeral services for Phrely Asbury Branstetter will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Davis with the Rev. James Densman officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery at Davis.

 

Phrely was born June 5, 1962, in Arlington Texas. She died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, in Sulphur at the age of 48.

 

Phrely and Paul Branstetter were married on April 3, 1999, in Ardmore.

 

Phrely was a 1980 graduate of Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas, where her friends knew her as “Free-Bird.” She was employed at the Denny’s Restaurant in Ardmore as the general manager, and had been with the restaurant for 14 years. Phrely was excellent at her job for the simple reason, she loved people. She was a very giving person. She was known by all her family and friends as one who gave a gift for every holiday and special occasions. She was very sympathetic when it came to caring for animals. Above all things in her life, Phrely’s most important treasure was her family. Her children were the light of her life. She was very supportive when it came to school, music, 4-H, Scouts and sporting events that her children participated in. She was a very proud and devoted mother. Phrely was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davis.

 

Phrely is survived by her husband, Paul; twin daughters, Paris Divine and Truly Anna, of the home; two sons, Brandon McNiel and wife, Kristin of Mansfield, Texas, and Brent McNiel of Arlington, Texas, and their father, Lynn McNiel; her parents, Shirley and Gerald Ogle of Grand Prairie, Texas; two brothers, Anthony and Shon Asbury; stepbrother, Mike Ogle; two grandchildren, Reagan and Maddyn McNiel; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. this evening at the Funeral Home.

 

Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Davis, Okla.
