Family conducted memorial service for Jimmie Douglas Williamson, 63, will be noon, Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at the Ardmore Elks Lodge.

 

The son of the late James Henry Williamson and Dorothy Parish Williamson, Jimmie was born on January 1, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away on February 16, 2011.

 

Mr. Williamson had been a resident of Ardmore for more than 10 years moving to Wynnewood six months ago. He and the former Dixie Lynn Bingenheimer were married on January 1, 2010.

 

Jimmie was owner and operator of the Williamson Constructors, Inc. He was known to tell jokes and was a member of the Ardmore Elks Lodge. Jimmie loved his family and spending time with them.

 

He is survived by his wife, Dixie of the home; sons, Edward and James Williamson both of Wanette, Okla.; daughters, Tabitha Lynn Williams of Noble, Denise Ann Williamson of Ardmore and Jena Brooke Stucker; sisters, Sandra Jean Overturf of Pauls Valley, Janice Marie Williamson of Pauls Valley and Jackie Lou Williams of Sulphur; brothers, John Ray Williamson, Wynnewood, Scott Allen Williamson and Mark Lynn Williamson of Pauls Valley; grandchildren: Tiffany Williamson, Teri Williamson, Dakota Williamson, Morgan Williamson, Ricky Williamson, Austin Williamson, Ashton Greg, Brock Williamson, Kaiven Ayers, Kaison Ayers, Dallon Worley and Drake Worley.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dean Gordon Williamson; and a brother, David Errol Williamson.
