Molly Mae Weaver and Colt Franklin Forsythe, both of Shawnee, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding, March 26, 2011, in Shawnee.

 

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Weaver and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Faulk, all of Shawnee. She is the granddaughter of Bill Weaver; the late Myrtle Weaver; and Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Amy Stith, Dale.

 

Weaver graduated from Dale High School, then went on to finish her education at Oklahoma State University, where she obtained a degree in marketing. She is a business development and retail officer at BancFirst in Shawnee.

 

Her fiance is the son of Benny Forsythe, Wilson; the late DeAnn Forsythe; and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Nail, Branson, Mo. His grandparents are Lawanna Forsythe, Wilson; the late Lawrence Forsythe; and Eidith Haynes, Branson.

 

Forsythe graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, Calif. He began college in San Jose, Calif., then transferred and finished his education at the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained a degree in criminology. He is a firefighter with the Shawnee Fire Department.
