Amanda Marie “Mandy” Noland, 33, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Ardmore, Okla. Services will be held at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel, Ardmore, Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Vincient Stephens and Pastor Ron Eaves officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.


Amanda Marie “Mandy” Noland, 33, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Ardmore, Okla. Services will be held at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel, Ardmore, Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Vincient Stephens and Pastor Ron Eaves officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.

 

Mandy was born August 21, 1977, in Ardmore, Okla., to Robert Noland and Sherry Lynn (Gunsolus) Noland.

 

Mandy attended Dickson schools. She enjoyed working at Hardy Murphy Coliseum as their secretary. She was a member of the Southern Riders of Ardmore and will be remembered for her love of animals. Mandy also enjoyed working in her neighborhood to help children in their time of need. Her focus was always on her friends and family.

 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Cecil Gunsolus.

 

Mandy is survived by her special friend, Jason Swindal; six children, Ariana Noland, Keana Noland, Kenysha Noland, Marvin Noland, Gabreon Noland and Emani Noland all of Ardmore; her parents: mother, Sherry Gunsolus of Ardmore; and her father, Robert Noland and wife, Karen of Ardmore; one brother, Scottie Lee Noland of Ardmore; stepbrother, Branden Begley; sister, Veronica Noland; paternal grandparents, Leon and Grace Southerland of Ardmore; maternal grandmother, Jimmie Gunsolus; 17 uncles and aunts; and a host of other family members and friends.

 

Pallbearers will be Cameron Swindall, Treyon Grant, Khiry Swindall, Eldon Carr, Sly Haywood, J.D. Douglas, Greg Gaines and Chuck Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Gunsolus, Ronnie Gunsolus, William (Butch) Gunsolus, James Gunsolus and Frank Clark.

 

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011, at Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.
