Don Lee was born April 2, 1941; he passed from this life on June 25, 2011, at his home in Ardmore. Don was born in Anadarko.

Don started working at a young age and learned quickly in life about hard work and art which led him to his final occupation. The artistic talent that he had for color and scheme brought out a sign maker we all came to know and love.

He worked as a butcher, a cook in the Army and a sign maker. Don was self-employed at Don Lee Signs which is and has been deeply rooted in Ardmore since 1947. He continued to work until 2008 when he decided to retire.

He loved fishing, basketball, especially the Celtics, and cooking. Don enjoyed spending time talking to those who knew him best about his favorite things.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Butts, Keith Grey, Gene Gamble, Chuck Ramsey, Robert Rogers III, Tyler Rogers and Cary Ross.
