Services for Michael Craig King, 38, Healdton, will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011, at the Assembly of God Church in Healdton with Bros. John Harris, Quenton Newton and Buddy Jackson officiating, speaker will be Melissa Veal. Interment will be at Ringling Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton.

Craig was born January 26, 1973, in Ardmore to Waymon and Shirley “Thompson” King. He passed from this life August 23, 2011, at his home in Healdton.

 

Craig attended school in Healdton, Mustang, Okla., and Casper, Wyo. He was employed by various oil companies, the latest was America Oilfield Safety, where he worked until he was unable to due to his health.

 

Craig was always making you smile and laugh. He had a loving and caring way with everyone he knew, always living life with a free loving spirit filled with joy.

 

Craig will be missed by all his family and friends. Our memories of Craig will always bring us a smile. Yet our hearts will be filled with pain because of our loss. He will live in our hearts forever.

 

Preceding Craig in death were his paternal grandparents, Leslie and Lorice King; uncle, Donald Ray King; aunt, Shirley and uncle, Frank McCleary; aunt, Dorthy Chance; cousin, Frankie Lee McCleary; maternal grandparents, Paul and Madeline Thompson; uncle, Paul Dean Thompson; and cousin, Joe David Cook.

 

He is survived by his parents, Waymon and Shirley of Healdton; brothers, Danny Wayne King, Choctaw, Okla., and Johnny King and wife, Robyn of Kingston; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.

 

Pallbearers will be Brent Auld, Tracy Auld, Jason Auld, Toby Thompson, Cody Thompson and Kenneth Paul King.

 

Honorary bearers will be Johnny Scott, Kevin Stevenson, Jerry Bell, Berry Hickman and Donny Aycox.

 

Family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
