Minister Charles Henry Clark III, of Tatums, Oklahoma, was born to Fred and Jimmie Mae (Varner) Clark on March 3, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on December 19, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 56 years.

Minister Clark grew up and attended school in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Fox High School. He then attended college at Langston University. On March 14, 1991, Charles married Audrey McConnell in Duncan, Oklahoma, and together they made their home in Duncan for 17 years and later made their home in Tatums, Oklahoma. Charles worked for special young adults in Chickasha, Oklahoma, as Program Director. The highlights of his life were going to church and serving the Lord.

 

Minister Clark leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Audrey Clark of the home; three brothers, Major Clark and wife, Kelly of Newcastle, Pennsylvania, John Clark and wife, Wei of Chesnick, Pennsylvania, and James Clark and wife, Mary of Newcastle, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Phyllis Spencer and husband, Tom of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, and Helena Clark of Newcastle, Pennsylvania.
Minister Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jimmie Mae Clark.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 22, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the True Gospel Tabernacle in Duncan, Oklahoma, with Sufg. Bishop Sherman P. Tyler Sr. officiating. Interment will be in the Tatums Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
