Cor­rine Curtis, 75, of Manns­ville, Oklahoma, passed away April 18, 2012 ,at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill.


 


She was born on March 10, 1937, to the late Jack Hartwell and Beaulah Cal­laway Hartwell in Manns­ville, Oklahoma. Corrine was raised in Mannsville where she lived her entire life.


 


She married Donald Curtis on October 20, 1956, in Ardmore, Okla­homa. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2010. Corrine worked as a secretary for many years for several businesses in Carter County and later as a hair dresser. She en­joyed crocheting, life on the farm, working cattle, working in her flower beds and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Allyson Wilkins and husband, Tony Madill, Oklahoma; grandchil­dren, Rachel and Jerrad Wilkins, Madill, Oklaho­ma; nephew, Roger Hart­well and wife, Minnie, Mannsville, Oklahoma.

 

Corrine was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Edwin Hart­well.

 

In lieu of flowers, do­nations can be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, Ardmore or Alzehimer’s Association, Oklahoma City.

 

A private memorial will be held at a later date for the family. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Ma­dill, Oklahoma.
