The Rose State festival is a satellite event to the USA Science and Engineering Festival, being conducted concurrently in Washington, D.C., to offer stellar, multi-faceted programs with high entertainment value and
integrity of scientific content.

“The USA Science and Engineering Festival was initiated last year to re-invigorate the interest of our nation’s youth in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).  Our primary goal is to get the community excited about STEM, and to literally put Central Oklahoma on the national map,” said Rose State’s Engineering Dean, Wayne Jones.

The schedule for Rose State’s festival is broken into three days, each categorized according to school grade level:

Wednesday – elementary school students

Thursday - middle and high school students

Friday -  technology center/college/university students
