Ardmore 27, Durant 12
DURANT — Jeff Surrell scored three rushing touchdowns, including a 75 yarder in the fourth quarter, to lead Ardmore to its first victory of the season, a 27-12 win over Durant in non-district play at Paul Laird Field.

The senior quarterback notched his first career 100-yard game for the Tigers (1-1), carrying the ball 13 time for 103 yards. Jamarcus Mills added a 41-yard TD run to put the Tigers up 20-6 in the third quarter.

After giving up a touchdown late in the second quarter, Ardmore outscored Durant 21-6 after halftime.

Lone Grove 27, Tishomingo 19
TISHOMINGO — Aaron Sinkler had two rushing touchdowns and had an interception return for a touchdown to lead Lone Grove over Tishomingo on the road on Friday.

Sinkler accounted for all of the Longhorns' second-half points, including going 2-of-3 in the second half on extra points.
Lone Grove led 7-6 at halftime.

Davis 39, Sulphur 0
SULPHUR — Class 2A No. 5 Davis won its fifth consecutive "Murray County War" meeting with Sulphur, outgaining the Bulldogs 323-49 in total yardage.

Senior quarterback Alec Hetherington rushed for a game-high 94 yards and two touchdowns and Deaundre Carr added a 40-yard touchdown run for the Wolves (2-0), who will face Heritage Hall next Friday at Wolf Field.

Davis' Blake Summers had a 55-yard kickoff return touchdown and the Wolves forced three turnovers.

Sulphur (0-2) continues its tough non-district slate with Marlow in week 3.

Healdton 28, Snyder 0
SNYDER — Healdton picked up its first win of the season after its game with Snyder was called in the third quarter due to lightning.

The Bulldogs (1-1) led 28-0 with 10:10 remaining when the game was stopped.
