The son of the late Clifford Melvin Gray, was born on March 23, 1960, in Ardmore, Okla., and passed away on September 8, 2012, in Ardmore, Okla.
Allen and Gayle Pope were married on July 24, 1981, in Sulphur, Okla.
Allen was a 1978 graduate of Williston-Elko High School South Carolina. He also studied drafting at Murray State College. From there, he went into the auto body industry making numerous friends along the way. He was currently working as an insurance appraiser. Allen was also an honorary member of the Davis FFA.
Allen loved spending time with Gayle and Sassy making trips to Sonic for ice cream, rides around the lake and to Sulphur to check out the deer. He also enjoyed time as Papa and riding four wheelers down the creek, river and the Ozark Mountains with family and friends.
Allen is survived by loving wife, Gayle Gray, of the home; son, Cooter Gray and wife, Dea; grandson, Corbyn Hunter; mother-in-law, Ruth Pope, all of Davis, Okla.; brother-in-law, Bobby Pope; niece, Malorie Pope of Doughtery, Okla.; and numerous family members and friends. And his special dog, Sassy Jo.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jamie; and grandparents, Melvin and Effie Gray and Clyde Suther.
Honorary bearers are Cooter Gray, Corbyn Gray, Bobby Webb, Daniel Tolbert, Terry Busby, Robbie Kirkland, Rock McKinnley, Shain Bumgarner, Kyle Smith and Blake Jackson.

Memorial services for Clifford Allen Gray, 52, will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, at Midway Hill Baptist Church.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the home.
