  • Frances Jean "Jeanie" Parker Armijo died on Monday September 11, 2012, at her home in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. Jeanie was born on December 17, 1942, in Escondido, Calif., to Francis Willard "Jack" Parker and June McFall Parker. She spent most of her life in Georgetown, where she graduated high school, raised her family and worked as an administrative assistant.
Jeanie had many lifelong friends in Georgetown that she has kept in contact with over the years. In 1998 she moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, to take care of her aging mom. While in Oklahoma she met Emilio Armijo whom she married in 2000. She and Emilio have resided in Lone Grove for the past 12 years working side by side in their own rental management business.
Jeanie loved the Lord, her husband, her kids and grandkids. To everyone who knew her, Jeannie was a loving and kind soul whom never met a stranger. She will be sorely missed by all those that knew and loved her. Jeannie loved to cook, paint, and crochet and above all help others. Jeanie was a member of Calvary Christian Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her husband, Emilio Armijo of Lone Grove, Okla.; daughter, Shannon Miracle and husband, Marty of Houston, Texas; son, Cody Hawes and wife, DeeDee of Georgetown; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Payne Miracle, Britton, Tristian and Dalton Hawes; brother, William Van Parker of Mexia; nieces, Tiffany Parker Laminack and Tara Parker.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her father, Francis Willard "Jack" Parker; and mother, June McFall Parker.
At her request, in the near future, her family will gather in Galveston and spread her ashes in the Ocean.
