Ardmore Little Theatre’s presentation of “Sordid Lives,” a tragicomedy about the aftermath of a death in a Texas family, opens today for a four-day run on stage at the Goddard Arts Center.
Native Texan Del Shores, author of “Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got the Will?” and “Daughters of the Lone Star State,” also penned “Sordid Lives,” which was made into a movie in 2000 and later followed by a TV series of the same name.
Performances of this sordid comedy are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
The show does contain adult language and adult content, so any children attending are encouraged to have parental guidance.
