The Big 12 Conference announced that the University of Oklahoma football game at Texas Tech on Oct. 6 is slated to kick off at 2:30 p.m.


The game will be broadcast by either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The network designation for the game will be announced at a later date.


The 20th meeting between the Sooners and Red Raiders will take place at Jones AT&T Stadium, with Oklahoma holding a 13-6 all-time advantage against Texas Tech.


Oklahoma is currently No. 16 in the latest AP poll and is No. 15 in the most recent USA Today Coaches’ Poll. OU enjoys a bye this Saturday, while Texas Tech opens Big 12 play at Iowa State.
