  • The First United Methodist Church in Ada was the setting for the June 16 wedding of Branda Gail Stephens and Jason Brett Smith. The church was decorated in pink and gold. The Rev. John Wylie performed the ceremony. Organist was Rozy Purdy.

  • The First United Methodist Church in Ada was the setting for the June 16 wedding of Branda Gail Stephens and Jason Brett Smith. The church was decorated in pink and gold. The Rev. John Wylie performed the ceremony. Organist was Rozy Purdy.
    The bride wore a strapless ball gown in antique white satin featured with Swarovski Crystals and rhinestones throughout the embroidered bodice. Satin bows sprin­kled with cr ystals adorned the skirt of the gown flowing to a chapel length train designed by Amelia Carrara of the Eve of Milady Bridal Collections.
    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Billy Stephens, Ada; and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smith, Springer.
    Grandparents are the late Bill and Osie Stephens; the late Bennie and Pauline Fisher; the late Roscoe and Er­nestine Smith; and the late Joe and Nadine Mooney.
    Great-grandmother of the bride is Opal Weller, Tu­pelo.
    Honor attendants were Misty Stephens, Ada; and Casey Smith, Springer.
    Other members of the wedding party were Johnene Smith, Calli Henderson, Darrell Mink, Paul Brightwell, Brayleigh Stephens, Ben Smith, Delaney Smith, Bran­don Stephens, Gary Thompson and Kacee Dibler.
    Following the ceremony, the couple was escorted via limousine to a reception featuring dinner and danc­ing hosted by the bride's parents at the Oak Hills Golf Course and Country Club in Ada.
    The couple spent their honeymoon at El Dorado Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
    They live in Springer.
