  • “Route 66 Remembered” by Michael Witzel will be the subject of the “Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma” reading and discussion series at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Public Library.

Trisha Yarbrough will serve as scholar and open the program on the nostalgic recollection of the roadside attractions along Route 66. Witzel explores every aspect of the highway and thoroughly guides the reader down the road, chronicling the development of business along the way.

Copies of the book are available at the Wilson Public Library. The program is free and open to the public and is the third program in the 4-part discussion series, “Get Your Reading kicks on Route 66.”

To ask questions, call (580) 668-2486, (888) 520-8102, or visit the library at 1087 US Highway 70-A.
