Services, celebrating the life of Reggie Berryman, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor John Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Clearview Cemetery.
Reggie, age 54, and a lifetime resident of Ardmore, was born February 20, 1958, and departed this life Sunday, October 7, 2012, in Mercy Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Reggie graduated from Ardmore High School in 1970 and attended Ardmore's Vo-Tech School to study carpentry. During his lifetime, he has worked as a cook at numerous restaurants, including the Chuck Wagon, McDonald's, Two Frogs, Lake Murray and at the Veterans' Center. During his youth, Reggie united with Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Hennesy; a brother, Rodney Hennesy; and his stepfather, Lawrence Hennesy.
He leaves to forever cherish his life, his mother, Rosie Hennesy; two sons, Ontra Anderson and Volanta Anderson, both of Ardmore; two brothers, Lionel Berryman, Ardmore, and Jerome Hennesy, Pauls Valley; one sister, Paulette Hennesy, Ardmore; four grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Sanford Lorens, Ronnie Dowdy, Dwight Ainsworth, Lonnie Hennesy, Sam Hennesy, Rodney Burns and Skylar Burns.
Services are entrusted to the care of Kirk Funeral Home. Viewal will be from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday.
