Arce Lee Green, age 75, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church at Milo, Okla. Interment to follow at Jehovah Cemetery, Milo, Okla.
Arce Lee was born on February 7, 1937, to Benjamin Franklin Green and Mary Ellen (Clayton) Green at Ryan, Okla. He graduated from Central High School in 1957 at Woodford, Okla., and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he moved to Milo, Okla., in 1961 and went to work in road construction. He retired from Washita Construction as Foreman in 1988. Arce Lee enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing dominoes and watching old westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Mary Ellen Green; three brothers; son, Alan Dale Green; and grandson, Marquis Green.
Arce Lee is survived by his wife, Norvell; children, Reginal Dan Green of Dallas, Texas, Regina Ann Franklin of Ardmore, Okla., Randal Green of Ardmore, Okla., Wendell Green and wife, Darlene, of England, Marvin Green of Ardmore, Okla., Darnell Green of Ardmore, Okla., Corey Green of Ardmore, Okla., Ramona Green of Lone Grove, Okla., Christy Green of Ardmore, Okla., and Casey Green and wife, Rachael of Ardmore, Okla.; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Arce Lee's sons will serve as his pallbearers. His granddaughters will serve as flower bearers.
