The 33rd Annual Oklahoma Governor’s Water Conference is set for Tuesday and Wednesday at the Tulsa Southern Hills Marriott.
The event is billed as a place where Oklahomans will have an opportunity to hear dozens of prominent local, state and national figures highlight key water policy and management issues, including conservation and efficiency, infrastructure financing, and monitoring.
The two-day conference is expected to attract hundreds of water officials and citizens who share an avid interest the state’s water resources and the latest developments concerning water management and quality, infrastructure financing, and other vital water issues.
Once again this year, the Conference will be held concurrently with the Oklahoma Water Resources Research Symposium, sponsored by the Oklahoma Water Resources Research Institute.
In addition, three Oklahomans will be honored with the Oklahoma Water Pioneer Award, presented to those men and women who have made significant contributions in the planning, development, management, and conservation of Oklahoma’s water resources.
