Sue Ann Doolittle Henley was born in Galveston, Texas, on July 22, 1941. She died at her home in Edmond, on Oct. 20.
She was retired from the Bill Processing Department of the State of Oklahoma House of Representatives. Sue held a baccalaureate degree from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She was recently honored on her Golden Anniversary as a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. She was active in her church and community. Sue worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others through church social outreach programs, seven international mission trips; and she was an active and dedicated tutor for Whiz Kids.
She is survived by her husband, Scott; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Regan and John Schraad and Shannon and Rob Breitenstein; five grandchildren, Clayton, Michael, Brian, Kendall and Carson; brother, Thomas Doolittle; niece and nephew, Kim Sabanayagam and Brad Doolittle; and many cousins.
Funeral service was on Oct. 24, at the First United Methodist Church of Edmond.
She will be missed by her family and numerous friends as well as those who benefited from her community service. Family suggestions for donations in memory of Sue, are the First United Methodist Church of Edmond, Free to Live and Whiz Kids.
