  • Federal prosecutors say a long-time lobbyist bribed a convicted Oklahoma state senator and they want the allegation included in the senator's sentencing — even though no charges were filed.

Former Sen. Mike Morgan faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced Jan. 8 for bribery.

The Oklahoman reports that prosecutors want U.S. District Judge Robin Cauthron to consider $33,500 paid to Morgan by lobbyist Barry Moore's BKM Group to be considered a bribe.

Moore has not been charged and his attorney says the payments were for legal services.
